Mormon Tabernacle choir at Red Rocks

The Cooks and us went to the Morman Tabernacle Choir up in Denver last night for FHE. It was so beautiful!! The choir was awesome as always. If you look close at some you can see the Denver skyline. The Prophet was there as was two Governors..Ritter and Wyoming's governor. Governor Ritter conducted the choir. It was a really great evening. Wish you all could have been there to share.

Cooper ate my flip-flop. Lucky for him it wasn't my favorite pair. He cried when he got sent outside all by himself.

We made it through our third trek!!

The trek was great, the kids were great, the weather held out for us. It was cold at night and we saw too many rattle snakes. Look closely in the bushes and you will see. They were all over this time and we really had to be careful where we walked. The one in the picture was just off the path. The river crossing was awesome...because of the rains they have been having the river was two to three feet higher than normal. We had to forge holding a rope. The water came up to above my waist and the current was swift. It gave the youth a better feel of what the pioneers had to face. I will get more pictures. All in all it was a great time and we survived the bug bites, the ticks and the snakes....but good food and a warm bed at night.

We are off to Wyoming for the trek

Dad and I leave early (5:00 am) Monday morning for the trek. This will be our third time....what is the saying...third time charmed. This will be our last time..Yippeee!!!  Keep us in your prayers and I will post some pics when we get back. Can't wait to put on those clothes and walk and walk and walk!! And oh the Wyoming wind...love it.....not!!
