HOLY COW!! Those are some tough questions!! Whoever wins that Knowledge Bowl is one smart kid!! Bill and I together could maybe answer like 4 or 5....soooooo sad huh?? :)

1) Our Town was written by Thornton Wilder and is a three act play

2) Photosynthesis produces glucose (sugar) and oxygen

3) The stripes on the American flag represent the orignial thirteen colonies, while the stars represent the 50 states.

4) The tri-cities of Washington State are Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland. The neighboring city of West Richland is often included in the tri-city area as well.

5) The High and the Mighty was written by Ernest K. Gann, who was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and owned a ranch on San Juan Island.

6) The first amendment guarantees the freedom of religion, speech, press, the right to assemble peaceably, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

7) Gerald Ford served as both Vice President and President without being elected.

8) The forces that interact to form a radio wave are electricity and magnetism (electromagnetic waves)

9) The Great Pyramid at Giza is the only wonder of the ancient world still standing.

10) The Snoqualmie Falls is about 100 feet higher than Niagra Falls.
