Salsa Anyone...

I canned salsa yesterday. Not the nice cheap GJ tomatoes but farm fresh from Pueblo. Turned out good and will be so good this winter to have fresh salsa.

Nicolle's sick!

I talked to Matt today and he said Nicolle has been sick since Monday. Really sick. Today she went into the doctor's and found out she has swine flu. I know at our school we send all the sick kids to the office. Nicolle works in the office at Lauren's school........ I can guess where she got it. Anyways let's keep her in our thoughts and hope nobody else gets it.

Labor Day

Dad and I got away for Labor Day and spent the weekend in the mountains at Rampart Reservoir. It was a well needed rest and relaxation for us. We hiked and ate and slept and watched Cooper swim. We set by the fire at night, played rummy and took naps.......soooo nice! I think we can go on with life:) It was a great weekend!

Kitchen countertops done......

Had my counter tops installed today and I love them. Next is faucet and then crown molding. More to come.......

What is going on in your life?

Dad and I are redoing the kitchen. We go to bed every night tired and sore. It is looking pretty good. We have alot more to do but it will happen. Tomorrow we have a carpenter coming to help take out the soffit. Last night I painted the ceiling. I will not be raising my hand today at school=) Tonight we are starting on the walls. We have our new countertops coming next week and hopefully that will be the finishing touch. It really needed updating and is looking good. I will put a few picks but I wish you could see the pictures in my head of the finished look.

I go back to school on Tuesday.....one more day of summer

vacation. The kids start on Thursday so just meetings

the first couple days. I don't think I was happy when

my kids where home for school to start either

cause it meant homework again.

I LOVE Zappos....and yes we always open our packages in the back of Lar's truck =)

A Day with Liam!

I got to have Liam all day today! We had so much fun and I even got some work out of him. We ate breakfast then played with bubbles. Then we played with cups and more water. Liam scooped poop then vaccuumed my family room. Then we played with more water and looked at more poop. (thanks Cooper). We ate lunch and changed wet clothes then took a nap. What a fun day!
